Ruth is a multi award winning logistics professional and has worked in the sector for 35 years. She started working in 1989 for the NFC (now DHL) as a graduate trainee, and has worked in France and the UK, and still speaks fluent French. Her experience includes working in the retail, automotive and publishing sectors, and has also had many years'self employment including building an app, selling that business and starting again. She is passionate about diversity and inclusion within the profession and is Founder of Women in Logistics UK. Ruth has has a varied career as a consultant and is an expert on compliance including Operator Licensing and Health and Safety, as well as ISO standards and the BRC Food Storage and Distribution standard. She’s written and delivered the new Warehouse Manager CPC qualification for the UK Warehousing Association.
